		<description>Maybe my answer is too rational, but this is what the game theory predicts:

If you&#039;re in the U.S., I think it slighly (but only slightly) improves your chances (if you&#039;re an overweight person), because if somebody else is as qualified as you are and wins this scholarship, you can sue the scholarship administration for discrimination. They know it, so they&#039;ll give the scholarship to you. If somebody else is objectively better qualified than you, then this person should get it. 

So, the person&#039;s weight can be a tie-breaker, but not a decisive factor.</description>
